S'Arracó is a small, rustic village of 700 or so inhabitants in the south-west of the island. Lined with stone houses, it lies halfway between Andratx and Sant Elm. Its history is linked to that of France: many inhabitants left the village during the last century to make their fortune in France, before returning to settle in their little corner of paradise, something you'll appreciate as you stroll through the quiet streets of S'Arracó, starting with the main avenue, called Carrer de França (rue de France). A few good restaurants to discover. As for the rest, you'll soon get the hang of it.
