Cosy establishment located 200 m from the GR65, offering three rooms with shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

200 meters from the GR65, Simon and Fred warmly welcome you in their old family farm. They propose to share a moment of conviviality by accompanying them to the gathering of medicinal and aromatic plants. They also welcome pilgrims and hikers. Two rooms in the farmhouse and a third in the annex. There is also a bivouac area for those who wish to remain autonomous with access to a shower, washbasin and toilets. Tent rental if needed. Meals are prepared with products from the farm.

J’ai découvert l’Arche de Gabriel en juin 2022 où je m’y étais arrêté pour dormir lors de mon chemin de Compostelle. J’avais adoré le lieu et son histoire ainsi que tous les projets qui y étaient menés. Je me suis dit que j’aimerais y revenir à mon retour… Quelques mois plus tard, me revoici à L’Arche pour une semaine de woofing. J’ai passé une super semaine avec Simon, Micka et les acolytes Marty et Rafale à en apprendre davantage sur la nature, les plantes, la cueillette mais aussi le gîte, l’accueil et les relations humaines… J’étais comme à la maison et j’ai été super bien accueillie, c’est un lieu où il fait bon vivre, où l’on se sent bien et où l’on a envie de revenir.

After a very long (hilly) day on the Camino, it was a treat to arrive to such a warm welcome by Simon at L'Arche de Gabriel. The house is cosy, with a great shower and comfortable beds, and you are made to feel very much at home. The food Simon made with local produce and home grown herbs was absolutely spectacular, as was the conversation throughout the meal. I wish I could have spent more time here and hope to come back one day. Thank you!

Très chouette expérience lors de mon passage à l’arche de Gabriel. On s’y sent bien des l’arrivée, simplicité et bienveillance. Le dîner était délicieux et je pense revenir un jour pour la cueillette ! Merci !
