Everything about the history of the Belgian army: from ancient weapons and armour, the wars, to the armoury and aircraft.
A site as rich as Belgium's military history. In all, some one hundred thousand items. We start with ancient weapons and armor, giving an overview of the evolution of weaponry from the 8th to the 19th century, including some magnificent Carolingian swords. Rooms specializing in the World Wars, the Resistance, armor and, last but not least, a superb room containing aircraft (under renovation). Admire the panorama from the top of the Arcades. Store and café. Most rooms are accessible to disabled visitors.
