Museum in 4 parts: national archaeology, decorative arts, antiquities of the Mediterranean basin and civilizations outside Europe.

Four sections: national archaeology (from prehistory to the Merovingians), Antiquity in the great Mediterranean civilizations, European decorative arts from the 10th to the 20th century (sculpture, furniture, silverware, precision instruments, glassware, Art Nouveau, Art Deco...) and non-European civilizations from all continents except sub-Saharan Africa, which is presented at the AfricaMuseum in Tervueren. Models, mannequins and films enliven the visit. Thematic temporary exhibitions are held every year.

Si l'on parle de fermer le musée de l'armée, le musée du Cinquantenaire lui est bien installé. Récemment rénové, il mérite une visite. Coup de coeur pour la partie mésoaméricaine où certains reconnaîtront la momie de Tintin.

L'on peut monter tout en haut afin d'avoir une vue et de profiter sur tout Bruxelles. Collection immense d'avion et autres objets de guerre. Un peu fouillis à certains endroit mais très chouette

Ce musée est au cœur de Bruxelles dans un magnifique parc
en plus de l'intérieur je vous conseille de vous renseigner pour faire une visite guidée du bâtiment et de monter sur les arcades du cinquentenaire Vue imprenable sur Bruxelles

Museum of art and History. very fine collections of the world, but especially a " game familles" who are played in the cloister. it is a sort of Cluedo with " Crime with musée". research for criminal and murder weapon. it is free! Ask the reception. Interesting for children and teenagers!
