A gallery of not miss masterpiece.
Symbolist paintings, or militant on foot of rural life and work of realism striking, signed Emile Claus, Eugène Laermans, Gustave de Smet, A. van de Woestyne, or those of the futuristic Belgian Jules Schmalzegaug... all crowned by the absolute masterpiece of the museum: Chalk merchants (882-83) dazzling triptych of brilliant Léon Frédéric, leader of the Belgian symbolist.
