ROYAL PALAIS
Since 1965, the Palace has been open to the public, free of charge, every year from the day after the National Day to the beginning of September.
The result of the merger of four private mansions built between 1815 and 1829, it houses the King's office, several departments and serves as a reception area. Since 1965, the Palace has been open to the public every year from the day after Bastille Day to early September. Crowds can enter this imposing building, commissioned by Leopold II and completed in 1865. Visitors can contemplate the priceless collections of works of art from every continent and every era. Another must-see is the ceiling of beetle shells designed by Jan Fabre: subjugating!
