You don't have to be staying at the luxurious and prestigious Hotel Corinthia (which has just opened its doors after years of restoration) to come and have a drink at the Palm Court. The place is simply breathtaking: the large, all-white room decorated with palm trees (hence the name) is topped by an immense glass roof perched 11 metres above you. Perfect for a romantic rendezvous or a cup of tea with your girlfriends, served palatial-style to the sound of the piano. The only drawback? You pay for the prestige of the place. But for once!
