The San Donato, a disappearing model. A solid neighbourhood address as we like them, the owner is in the kitchen and his wife in the dining room. She is smiling and has a word for everyone and an eye for everything. Word of mouth has been spreading for twenty years for a clientele of fine food from the end of the street or from much further away. In addition to the twenty or so pizzas, the menu mixes classics and monthly suggestions that are absolutely remarkable. At San Donato the chef prepares everything on the spot with fresh products, even his shrimp and parmesan croquettes.
