Waterzooï, kidneys with mustard, mussel cassolettes and beer à la carte in a restaurant with terrace in Brussels.
At Spinnekopke ("little spider"), they serve Belgian and Brussels dishes in an old-fashioned decor, completely refurbished in 2020: wooden benches, checked tablecloths and old tiles. This old Brussels estaminet, newly managed by Sven De Man and Esther Hertens (with Jonathan Prieels in the kitchen), dates from 1762 and was once a stagecoach stop. Tradition obliges, we will opt for a black pudding with apples or a carbonnade with Faro beer that we will accompany... with one of the many beers on the menu.

An authentic pub stayed in its juice.Difficult to find Belgian than this spinnekopke, whether it is for decor or cuisine with a confusing version of dishes of mussels with special mention for the waterzooi of mussels. It is a bit change of course price question but a trip in the major belgitude is worth it.
