RESTAURANTE BEIRA MAR
Read moreOverlooking the quays of the small port, this is undoubtedly one of the best fish and shellfish restaurants on the island; don't confuse it with the restaurant of the same name in downtown Angra do Heroísmo. The food here is really good and the prices quite democratic. We recommend the fish soup or the grilled octopus. The wine list is comprehensive. As for the service, it's perfect and on a par with the dishes. Don't forget to book, because when it's fabulous and you're in a small town, places are expensive!

QUINTA DO MARTELO

The cuisine, typical, is well thought out. Try the Holy Spirit soup, if you haven't already done so. Otherwise, let yourself be tempted by sausages, sausages and other sweet potatoes. The flavoured coffee is delicious. And if you are lucky, the chef will come out of his kitchen and share with you his passion and maybe some of his secrets!
