SEVEN-ARCHED BRIDGE

The bridge with its seven neo-Romanesque arches, built in 1883, is very picturesque and is certainly one of the most beautiful in São Miguel. You won't want to miss it as you cross the town of Nordeste. You can admire it from below, from the small square, or cross it and admire the view of the city from above. It's adorned with colorful flowers in the summer months, and is well worth a snapshot! But it's by moving away from it that you'll get the best view and appreciate its beautiful construction.
