The most pleasant of Ponta Delgada's green spaces, with bushy corners and airy lawns.
It's the most pleasant green space in Ponta Delgada, a city that's not overcrowded with concrete. Of course, it lacks the richness of a botanical garden or a luxurious park, but the space is pleasantly designed, with bushy nooks and airy lawns, a few exotic species, a watering hole, a small café and enough children's laughter to keep you happy. Particularly noteworthy is a superb elastic fig tree native to India, whose strange, sprouting roots make it look like a giant octopus.

Par le passé ce jardin était ouvert au public gratuitement; maintenant c'est payant et ceci gâche un peu le plaisir d'un très beau jardin...

Magnifique jardin. Ficus élastica, arbre aux racines géantes situé au cœur du jardin très impressionnant à contempler. A faire impérativement pour les amoureux de la nature. Il est situé à 20 minutes du centre à pied. Entrée gratuite.
