One of three state parks in the Keys with beach camping, hiking trails, the Golden Orb Trail and the Layton Trail

This is one of three state parks in the Keys. The beach is not crowded and you can even camp there. Two trails offer beautiful hikes: the Golden Orb Trail (1.6 km) and the Layton Trail. You can also rent kayaks for 2 hours. Snorkeling allows you to discover an abundance of lobsters and octopuses. Within sight, large wading birds are nesting everywhere. But mosquitoes are also at home.
