This is perhaps the best Jewish grocery store in San Francisco. As soon as you enter, you are taken by the intimate atmosphere with these family portraits hanging on the walls. But very quickly, one passes to the serious things... The pastrami is prepared with beef brisket that has never received hormones or antibiotics. The babka is filled with 72% bittersweet Guittard chocolate and real butter. And the smoked salmon comes with fresh cream cheese and house bagels, boiled in malted water before being baked!
