The Yotel, housed in a historic hotel that survived the 1906 earthquake, has very small first-rate rooms of ultra-modern design, with changing lights, sockets everywhere, a giant screen to which you can connect your phone... On the other hand, the toilets are open, which can quickly become stuffy, and the prices are ultimately very high for the space of the rooms and especially the neighborhood, between the Tenderloin and Civic Center, haunted by junkies.

The hotel is different, rooms are clean and small. Breakfast is just coffee, fruits, and bagles. No eggs or warm food.
The location of the hotel is centric but sadly I had the problem of not feeling safe because of the homeless with were very close to the hotel entrance.

Don’t go .My cousin had two suitcases broken into and several things were stolen from his hotel room. I don't recommend it because it's surrounded by homeless people using drugs and selling them.

Las habitaciones muy cómodas y recibes lo que pagas en las noches es un poco raro ver gente en situación de calle caminando tienes buenos puntos de interés

This hotel caters to a minimalist/hipster population vs a standard business traveler. The hotel was very clean and modern although does not provide much space to enjoy your room. My room was a “two story” closet.

The area around the hotel is dicey due to being near the Tenderloin, arrived late at night and it was heavily populated with vagrants. During the day market street and other large streets were cleared.

I won’t be back however some will love this place, wasn’t for me.
