Everything about our stay was great. This was our first time staying at Hotel Zephyr and we will return anytime we are in San Francisco. The location was awesome. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was close to the cable cars.

Very nice hotel ideally located. Walk out to the huge patio with fire pits and s'mores given out, then through the bar and you on the wharf. Rooms are nice and staff is nice. Perfect location to walk the wharf. The only downside is that it's a hotel that caters to kids. If you have kids they will stay busy while your sipping wine at the fire pit. The kids however are noisy and there were plenty of them. Definitely a hotel catered to kids. If you want a more adult hotel this isn't it.

Estuvimos muy a gusto. Las habitaciones son amplías, limpias, y cómodas.
La ubicación es inmejorable, esta cerca de muchas cosas que hay que ver en San Francisco. En pleno Fishermans Wharf, a unos minutos caminando del famoso Pier 39.
La atención del personal de primera.
El único pero, es el estacionamiento. Es caro si vienes en coche, aunque hay parkings más baratos en la zona.
En resumen, si volveré a hospedarme en el Zephyr cuando vuelva.

We stayed at this hotel in March 2024. The room, the view, the location were great, really nothing to complain about. We liked the marshmallow idea by the fireplace, we liked to always have coffee in the room and the balcony was perfect for sunny mornings.
However, we had a really bad experience with the receptionist (a bit older/female). She was incredibly rude to us - more than once. She attended to other customers while we were still waiting for her to answer, she refused to let us speak to the manager when we asked if he/she could help us, which she obviously couldn't. Then she ignored us - very unprofessional! So I can only give the hotel 3 stars, without her I would give the hotel 4 or even 5 stars, but this experience left us with a very bad feeling.

Magnífica ubicación, y muy buenos servicios, hemos estado encantados, por poner alguna falta, se echa de menos poco de ventilación en las habitaciones y mejoraría.

Hotel perfetto da tutti i punti di vista. Camere ben strutturate con ampi spazi per i vestiti, numerosi punti di appoggio, bagno grande. Ottima dotazione di asciugamani, nuovi e morbidi. Distributori per sapone, shampoo, crema, etc. Estetica molto curata e a tema con qualche tocco particolare (in camera c’erano anche le darts). Spazi comuni sia interni che esterni che offrono la possibilità di rilassarsi, giocare (utile per chi ha figli) esteticamente molto piacevoli. Caffè e tisane sempre disponibili nella hall (anche decaf e aromatizzati). Personale gentilissimo e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta. Late check out a costi ragionevoli. Unico difetto le camere che danno sulla strada sono un po’ rumorose, ma ne hanno altre verso l’interno con vista mare, che non dovrebbero avere questo problema. Posizione perfetta per visitare la città, a walking distance dal Pier 39, Pier 33 (imbarco per Alcatraz), Ghirardelli Sq e Cable Cars. Per le altre zone si può prendere gli autobus che fermano a pochi metri.

It's like a little apartment (minus the cookware) but sometimes there are cracks in the tiles but overall it's a good hotel

It's artsy, affordable and the people working the front desk and cleaning were just super nice. It's on the wharf and having games to play and wicked cool firepits are amazing. The rooms do show their age (it's an old raddison) but the decoration and vibe of it make up for it.

Traveled with my husband and infant. We had a lovely time. The fires in the outdoor lounge were such a nice added touch and the smores were a fun touch. The location is excellent - plenty tourist attractions were a short walk away. The only issue we had was that the crib mattress was not comfortable but once we padded it a bit our baby slept fine.

Un hotel cómodo, con mucha "onda" y los que atienden amables y serviciales. Cómodo y a mano de todo, la habitación amplia para dos adultos y dos niños, limpias, las zonas comunes llenas de cosas para hacer en los momentos libres con los niños. Jugamos ping pong, villar, ajedrez y asamos nubes en los fogones del patio. Las habitaciones se ven un poco vintage, pero eso le da estilo. Hemos acertado con este hotel.????

Only disappointment was the reception lady which was no help at all in finding a solution for my credit card which refused the depot transaction. Full stay was already paid for!
This was a huge stress after a long flight, I wish she would have been more helpful (she wasn't at all).

The staff was helpful and friendly and amazing from the front door to the staff that cleaned our room. Great job guys keep up the good work

I have not stayed here, but my son a daughter-in-law stayed for there 20th wedding anniversary, and my sons 40th birthday. I wanted to do something special and have a gift basket or something in there room. I called the hotel and they put me in contact with Joanna from concierge. What a wonderful experience. She put together the most amazing package. She worked with me, gave me ideas, hand wrote in cards for me. She went above and beyond. My son and daughter in law loved it. Said it made them feel special. Thank you Hotel Zepyr and especially Joanna!!!!

This is a scam! It is supposed to be four star hotel(at least they charge like one) but it might be just a 2 star hotel. I stayed for 1 night in this hotel , instantly regretted it and changed to Holiday inn express and suites.
I ordered a king bed room with a balcony, this room was so shabby, please look at the pictures below. On top of that they have too many hidden charges. It started with 134 dollars but I ended up paying 298 dollars ,they had all sorts of tourist charges , hotel charges and then nail on the coffin was amenities charges. When I asked what amenities? I literally paid for the room and the hotel, the front desk person told me(it was for the COMPlIMENTARY water bottles ( two 500cc water bottles which you get 20 bottles for 3 dollars , which they give you at the counter saying it’s complimentary and then for the electricity, water that we use during the stay, using the game room) I was like “what the fudge do you even mean by that?!!”
The room was so shabby with door in such a bad condition, they literally had sth like shoe lace hanging out of the lamps in the room. The balcony was a joke! Please look at the pictures below and decide if you want to pay that crazy money to stay in 2 star hotel which claims to be four star with below than average amenities. Honestly I was so happy to shift to Holiday inn express and suites which is a 3 star hotel. Rooms were much better, cleaner, they served good breakfast and had valet parking in the same price.

I was here for 2 nights. The location was great. A short walk to the pier 39 and pier 33 for Alcatraz. There wasn’t much traffic in the Area either. The rooms were clean and the service was good. Valet parking was very over priced, $75 a night. There also was a $35 resort fee which they had a small outside seating area but no pool or anything.

Poor service and rude staff I have seen. They are just robbing people $ 65 of daily parking OMG, really disgusting.

Un Hotel très bien situé sur Fisherman en face d'Alcatraz. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées, très grand lit, très grande Television et une déco en mode maritime de très bon goût. Assez silencieux en plus donc parfait pour un séjour réussi.
