THE ROAD OF THE GREEN PUY LENTIL
The Lentille verte du Puy route offers eight stops that can be explored at your own pace.
The association Site remarquable du Goût du Puy-en-Velay, created in 2005, is responsible for the Puy Green Lentil Route. This 200 km-long gourmet route features 8 stops, which can be explored at your own pace, by car or by bike. From Saint-Paulien to Lac du Bouchet, via the fortress of Polignac and Le Puy, the routes offer breathtaking panoramas, with the Altiligérian mountains as a backdrop. There are a variety of stops along the way, including inns, tours, museums and natural heritage sites. Pick up the leaflet available from the Le Puy-en-Velay tourist office, which will give you all the practical information you need about the route and the stops. All that's left is to set off and discover the emblem of Velay! Depending on the time of year, it's advisable to check opening times at each stop. As with Santiago de Compostela, don't forget to have your "passport" stamped on the leaflet each time you visit.
