THE ROAD OF THE GREEN PUY LENTIL
The Puy green lentil road was created thanks to the association Site of Goût du Puy-en-Velay (created in 2005). This gourmet road some 200 km has 8 stops and everyone is free to roam at their own pace and desires, by car or bicycle. From Saint- Paulien Lake Bouchet through the fortress and the Puy de Polignac, the routes offer breathtaking panoramas, with Altiligériennes Mountains in the background. The stops are diverse: inn, tours, museum, natural treasures, etc. . . . Get the brochure available at the Tourist Office of Le Puy -en- Velay, where you will get practical information about the road and stops. Then you can go ahead! Depending on the time of the visit, it is advisable to inquire at each stop to see their opening hours. On the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela, do not forget to stamp your "passport", present on the leaflet each time you visit.
