Magnificent building with a terrace, and a view on the cathedral, with beautiful rooms, a suite and a spa.
This magnificent building, listed as a historic monument, offers two luxury guest rooms on the3rd floor of a 15th-century mansion: the suite with spa and private hammam, and the deluxe room with all comforts. Spacious, comfortable surroundings with areas dedicated to writing, working and relaxing. Private terrace with unique panoramic city views! In the evening, you can share a table d'hôte.

I think there is s good chance they do not clean sheets or other things well here as I got a bad staphylococci infection on my back requiring strong antibiotic treatment following my stay here. Notice sheets are dark prints so you cannot see if the sheets are clean or not. Although we loved the views but at this price point if you cannot afford to provide large croissants, liquid soap, large bath towels, a very old coffee machine used at breakfast which takes staff 15 minutes to prepare coffee (to ensure less consumption?) etc. PLEASE charge us 5-10 euros more and provide these things. All of the little savings (petites economies) the owner tries to make to make a little more money could be added to the price with little complaint from the customer (customers paying 170-220 euros per night would not mind) As it is, it feels sad they have to do all of these little savings which highlights a type of stinginess and leaves us feeling less than valued.

Rooms are well laid out and decorated with all the necessary but was dusty and needed a good once over. The reception is not manned as mentioned on the site and the touches of an actual hotel lacks. No water in the rooms, coffee capsules not replaced and tea is hardly stocked in the rooms, drinks or degustation seems not to be available in the evenings as no one is on staff to serve. The towels seemed to need a decent wash too. Perfect location though and very easy to get to the sites.

Une très belle expérience dans ce lieu splendide et chargé d’histoire et de sens, un véritable havre de paix, un accueil chaleureux et une suite avec vue imprenable ????

C'est le top! Les Cimes is an absolute jewel. Follow the GPS on your phone up the narrow, medieval streets to 12 rue Saint-Georges, a stone's throw from the cathedral that crowns the peak above Le Puy. Once inside the ancient wooden doors, you'll climb a spectacular stone spiral staircase to your beautifully appointed room. Ours had an expansive view over the town, a comfortable queen-sized bed, a snazzy new bathroom, and a convenient counter with a coffee maker, kettle and outlet for charging cell phones. Definitely walk around the cathedral to Les Flaneurs for dinner (8 tables, charming hosts, delicious food) and enjoy breakfast at Les Cimes in the sprawling living room, where Gilles and Sandrine make you feel like visiting royalty. Les Cimes means "the summits" in French, and this place is well worth the climb.
