Although this residence bears the name of the famous English novelist and poetess, she never actually set foot here. And the reason is simple: this charming residential complex dates back only to 1926! Located in the Riverdale district of the Bronx, the Brontë Villa enjoys a peaceful, leafy setting, much appreciated by the residents who occupy its 17 apartments. As you drive along the road, you suddenly catch a glimpse of the Hudson River between two houses. It's a bucolic, Italian-style panorama you wouldn't expect to find in New York.
