Chez Francis is an old-fashioned French brasserie that's great to find in New York. The décor exudes a rustic elegance that will remind you of home, with wood and brass furniture, and a lovely counter that welcomes the liveliest of discussions. What's on the menu? Classic, tasty dishes: escargots, onion soup, steak-frites, duck breast... But what really caught our attention was the wide choice of meats and the incredible selection of wines. Open Tuesday and Wednesday, 5pm to 11pm. Thursday and Friday, 11.30am to midnight. Saturday, 11am to midnight. Sunday 11am to 5pm. Brunch on weekends. Lunch and brunch at 35 US$.
