Roosvelt Island aerial tramway offering a magnificent view over the East River from the cab.

Inaugurated in 1976, the Roosevelt Island aerial tramway is a cable car that takes you from 59th Street to Roosevelt Island in 5 minutes. The view from the cabin, over the East River, is magnificent. There's not much to do on the island, other than enjoy the view over Manhattan (especially in spring, during the Japanese cherry blossom season) and lounge in Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. Recently, the cable car has become a popular tourist attraction, much to the dismay of the locals who use it on a daily basis.

Le seul tram de New York. Il est gratuit si vous avez pris la metrocard. Sympa à faire mais çà ne dure pas longtemps.

C'est super à faire en plus si vous avez une carte de metro ça ne vous coûtera rien. C'est original. Sur l'île il n'y a pas grand chose mais cela montre une autre facette de new york

Belle expérience à faire. Vous permet de découvrir une autre facette de N.Y.
Un bus rouge effectue le tour de l'ile gratuitement. Cependant pas grand chose à voir en dehors du mémorial Roosevelt.

très sympa à faire de nuit ! cela permet de faire de très belles photo de NY de nuit. de plus, si vous avez un forfait metro, le trajet est inclu (autrement prix d'un ticket de metro)
