WILLIAMSBURG BRIDGE
Busy bridge with a beautiful view of Midtown Manhattan offering a very quiet ride for pedestrians and cyclists.
Less elegant than the Brooklyn Bridge, the Williamsburg Bridge, completed in 1903, offers a fine view of Midtown Manhattan. It has the advantage of being frequented almost exclusively by New Yorkers, with tourists deserting it in favor of its famous neighbor! And yet it's a delight to cross, whether on foot or by bike, making for a very leisurely stroll, all the more so as pedestrians and cyclists each have their own lane. It's also fun to watch the subway pass underneath (the vibrations aren't as strong as on the Manhattan Bridge!).
