56 LEONARD STREET
Glass tower nicknamed the "Jenga Tower" with some of the most expensive luxury apartments in Manhattan
The emblem of the TriBeCa district, this skyscraper inaugurated in 2017 is often nicknamed the "Jenga Tower" because of its silhouette, which evokes the towers built by stacking small wooden pieces in the skill game Jenga! This one, made of glass, is in no danger of collapsing, but the effect is no less striking. The tower, designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, houses some of the city's most expensive luxury apartments (its penthouse on the top floor sold for $50 million).
