Bar Goto is a tiny Japanese bar with a barely noticeable front on Eldridge Street. Few people venture in by chance, so you'll often come across regulars sitting at the bar, busy chatting to the excellent barman. In addition to the many delicious cocktails, sake selection, two Japanese beers and a few wines, the place is renowned for its Japanese bar food, including Okonomi-yaki (a kind of egg and cabbage pancake) and various fermented vegetables. A true New Yorker secret.
