Since 1954, the Public Theatre has been housed in a beautiful stone building. Today, he now devotes himself entirely to the Shakespearean repertoire, producing six plays each season, performed by well-known English or American actors. This very respectable and respected institution also produces avant-garde plays, organizes independent film screenings and a Latin Arts Festival in August. As programming changes frequently, check Where, the New York Times or the Village Voice.
