FAROLES GRANADINOS

Arts and crafts

These lanterns with their distinctive colours and shapes are part of the city's traditional craftsmanship. And if you want to give your interior a warm and oriental atmosphere, visit this illustrious house, created in 1911 by the maestro Pedro Fernández Estévez who saw his craft business perpetuated first by his sons and then his grandchildren. Lanterns, fixtures, wall lights, lamps, everything here is handmade, from cutting the glass to assembling the whole thing, including working with metal and assembling it with the glass. And you should know that the house has already illuminated the most prestigious places such as the Andalusian Parliament and the Alfonso XIII Hotel in Seville, the Cathedral of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Granada, Manuel de Falla's auditorium or the Las Tinajas restaurant.
