There's nothing like a relaxing bath in a pleasant Moorish atmosphere (decoration, music...) to unwind after a walk in the hills above Granada. The Hammam Al Ándalus Granada is located in a ^13th-century house in the heart of Granada. This hammam is inspired by traditional Arab baths. The geometry of its finely crafted mosaics, arches, plinths and columns transports visitors to the splendor of ancient Al Andalus. The hammam contains four water rooms at different temperatures: a temperate one(tepidarium) at 36°C, two hot ones(caldarium) where the water starts at 40°C and a cold one(frigidarium) at 15°C. The tour continues in a steam room (Turkish bath) and a rest room where you can enjoy a complimentary mint tea. A unique ambience where the adventure ends with a relaxing aromatherapy massage (possible with a horsehair glove). These mixed Arab baths (with no innuendo!), for which the Al Ándalus group is renowned, have expanded and branches have been opened in other Spanish cities (Cordoba, Madrid and Málaga).

These spa facilities complement the relaxation and beauty in the heart of Granada. The modern care area includes a thematic swimming pool with massage facilities, sensitive spaces, steam baths or essential oils showers. If this is not enough, this balneario offers methods for skin like chocothérapie (body coated with chocolate and massage), vinothérapie (same principle, but with wine).

If you're in the mood to buy a perfume, you might as well go through the door of this ^16th-century palace, known as the Palacio del Virrey or the Casa de Pérez del Pulgar, and a fine example of the city's Renaissance architecture. You can learn about the history and processes involved in perfume manufacture in the small museum, but also take a break and admire the flower-filled patio. And, of course, buy all the perfumed creations of this house, specialized in organic cosmetics and natural perfumes.

This hammam has been designed to be totally relaxed. A cold drink is served as soon as you arrive and you can choose between different formulas and enjoy a totally private space. We particularly appreciate that only 10 people are accepted simultaneously. Different treatments are available, such as baths of clay, mud, essential oils. There is even a nighttime formula including a show of oriental dances on Fridays and Saturdays.
