In the pleasant neighbourhood of Plaza de Trinidad, offering several possibilities for accommodation, catering and shopping, the Hostal de Jose Luis is truly charming, decorated with great care. A total of 5 beautiful, soundproofed rooms, very clean and all air-conditioned and with TV (international channels including the French TV), some with balconies. Personal service and excellent value for money.

Difficult to do more central, difficult to make higher range. AC Hoteles chain (bought in part in spring 2011 by Marriott) has invested the old convent of Santa Paula to create the 5-star that it missed in Granada, it is a success as visually as the comfort question. In all, there are very beautiful rooms, with a sober but refined décor, overlooking the imposing cloister or on the outside (less interesting!). In the summer, the hotel organizes classical music evenings that can be enjoyed by taking a drink in the café overlooking the cloister. Even without being hosted.

On the outskirts of the city centre, judiciously located a few cables from the Palacio de Congresos, this recent establishment (also owning the Granada Center, avenida Fuentenueva, near Camino de Ronda), an expanding Spanish chain, has 115 rooms and suites spread over four floors, the best of which have a balcony or terrace. The rather chic establishment is really very modern and straightforwardly at the forefront of comfort: effective soundproofing, very good bedding, pretty operational bathrooms marbled in black and white. He also knows how to be welcoming, with a professional reception, and pleasant with a mini pool and solarium on the roof. And it is from there that the view will be very pleasant, both on the city and on the Sierra Nevada. A superior quality product wrapped in a pink case designed mainly for the business and conference world. If it is a little off-centre, you still stay well connected to the city centre via the bus.

It was probably the first historic hotel in the Gothic Palace. Housed in a th century palace, Palacio Santa Inés is a beautifully decorated and restored hotel for years. It is known as the house of the Father Lord by the paintings of the patio attributed to the disciple of Rafael and Alejandro Mayner. With its 35 rooms, 5 suites or assimilated, it is a building with patio located in the area declared by UNESCO as a heritage of humanity with a very warm atmosphere. The hotel was very close to the city centre. Everything is thought carefully, the service is impeccable. Friendly staff.

The Carmen Hotel Santa Ines is an ancient Arab house. It offers nine rooms of extraordinary tranquillity. Located a little higher than the Palacio Santa Ines. They are all old rooms renovated. The hotel offers the particularity of having breakfast in a patio open onto a garden with myrtle trees, fruit trees and fountains, all overlooking the Alhambra. What a fantastic wake-up call!
