These shipyards were used as the setting for the underground passages of the Red Keep of King's Landing in season 7. Their Gothic-style vaults dating from the 13th century convinced the producers to install giant dragon skeletons and to film here the scene in which Jaime and Tyrion meet in secret, through Bronn (episode 5). The vaults are found in episode 5 of season 8, when Cersei and Jaime Lannister died, but it is likely that the scene was shot in the studio - the vaults reproduced - as the underground collapses under the flames of Drogon.

The basements are currently being renovated (this has nothing to do with damage from filming!) and will be open to the public by 2022.
