Located in an old building and spread over three floors, with elevator, this casa del libro ispart of a chain of Spanish bookstores and of the two that the city of Seville has. But since it is located in a building that is quite close to the places to visit, it will be a delight for Spanish-speaking people in need of reading. Especially since the Fnac had to leave its idyllic center and move to the Cartuja, due to the high cost of square meters. There is a very nice paperback section on the second floor.

Founded in 1969, this small, dusty-looking publishing house is full of little treasures, such as little notebooks of puns with a sharp sense of humor or sayings used in different centuries. You'll have to learn Spanish, because the thoughts and reflections are written in the language of Cervantes. Among the other little wonders: beautiful reproductions of old engravings of Seville, decorated notebooks, old-fashioned postcards. For "an economical, personalized, useful and beautiful gift".

Since the demise of the Gusanito lector in December 2023, this second-hand bookshop is one of the few survivors of the great wave of closures. Spanish speakers will find everything they need here: novels, detective stories, poetry and, of course, mangas and comics (nearly 8,000 in all). And those just learning the language of Cervantes can help themselves by acquiring a collection of Asterix's adventures, in Spanish.
