I unfortunately came down with Covid during my stay, and was so thankful for how accommodating the staff were. I was entitled to free buffet breakfast given my Titanium Elite status. The staff were under no obligation to replace that with room service breakfast , but happily did given my circumstances. The food (buffet my first day, and room service breakfast the following two days) was extraordinary.
I was also upgraded to a bigger and nicer room, which was very nice.
The hotel is absolutely stunning, aesthetically.
One very minor note of improvement - it looked like the walls of the shower near the back were not adequately cleaned, as there was some visible mild dirt/mold buildup. I hope the hotel will use this as an opportunity to review their specific housekeeping protocol for the showers.
I went to a cafe on the first floor of the hotel with a friend (I did not stay).
We arrived and waited, but the staff (female) didn't come to us until 10 minutes later. I thought it was because she was busy, but after we asked her to bring us the menu, she didn't come for 20 minutes. It's clear that they ignore me because I'm Asian. Don't tarnish Spain's image like that. Don't forget that you are ruining Spain's image.
conclusão, nao vale a pena!!
Hotel Alfonso XIII in Sevilla is not merely a place to stay; it's a haven where luxury meets unparalleled personalized service, setting the benchmark for hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Sevilla, this hotel dazzles with its architectural splendor, offering guests a unique blend of historical elegance and modern comfort. However, what truly distinguishes Hotel Alfonso XIII is the extraordinary dedication of its staff, particularly Juan, Manuel, and Ana Jimenez, whose efforts ensure that every guest's stay is nothing short of remarkable.
Juan, the most tenured staff member, exemplifies exceptional customer service and a deep sense of care for guests. His knowledge of Sevilla is unmatched, and his recommendation to visit a particular spot known for serving the best churros in the city was a highlight of our trip. Juan's passion for Sevilla and its culture shines through in his every interaction.
Manuel, who shares a name with our 6-year-old son, created a memorable connection with our family right from the start. His gesture of gifting a Hot Wheels car to our son was a touching example of his attention to detail and his ability to make guests feel truly special. This act of kindness not only delighted our son but also added a personal touch to our stay that we will always cherish.
Ana Jimenez's role in making our visit memorable extended far beyond the check-in desk. She personally escorted us to our room, taking the time to show us around the premises and ensuring we were comfortably settled. Her warm and attentive approach from the moment we arrived set the tone for a stay defined by personalized care and hospitality.
The combined efforts of Juan, Manuel, and Ana Jimenez contribute to an atmosphere where guests are not just accommodated but celebrated. Their dedication to going above and beyond in their service roles highlights the ethos of Hotel Alfonso XIII - where every guest's experience is crafted with care, attention to detail, and a personal touch.
Staying at Hotel Alfonso XIII is an experience enriched by the kindness, attention to detail, and personalized service provided by its exceptional staff. Juan, Manuel, and Ana Jimenez stand out for their contributions to making our visit unforgettable, showcasing the very best of what Sevilla has to offer. For anyone seeking a stay that combines luxury with a warm, personal touch, Hotel Alfonso XIII is without a doubt the perfect and only choice.
All it has going for it is the location. Staff were quite dismissive bordering on rude and terribly disorganised. A patron in a wheelchair was not seen to, so he had to make his way to a table. No staff to guide or help, we had to move chairs and tables for him to fit thru. We were going to order food but although 3 wait staff were busy running around and 3 others were behind/around the bar, we couldn't get anyone's attention so we got the bill and left
Únicamente he estado tomando unas cervezas.
