This small, family-run Mauritian company was founded and is run by people who are passionate about the island, who know its history, its heritage and its byways... The company's mission is to help visitors discover the most beautiful, and not necessarily the most visited, places in the four corners of Mauritius, through guided ecotourism excursions by electric bike, fat bike or on foot. Nothing could be more interesting under the guidance of DunienZîl's guides, as the rides are above all an opportunity to meet craftsmen, explore natural and cultural heritage (bays, waterfalls, secret beaches, museums, old houses...), sample the country's culinary specialities over lunch at local people's homes, or pause for tastings of fresh juices, rum, sweet and savoury snacks...
Each electric bike tour allows you to discover a different corner of the island, its geography, history, culture, etc., as on this excursion to Souillac, which, after skirting the coastal cliffs in the south, follows in the footsteps of the island's earliest settlers, notably the French... In the heart of Wolmar's private hunting ground in the west (an area populated by deer and interesting flora), DunienZîl organizes guided Fat Bike rides (mountain bikes with wide tires) ideal for families, as well as the cultural walking tour of old Port Louis.
