Village of Blesle with a bell tower without a church, a chapel of Saint-Jean and a few scattered elements in the town.
The village of Blesle is unusual in that it has a bell tower without a church! The church of Saint-Martin, built in the 14th century by the Benedictine abbesses, was sold as national property during the Revolution, then demolished in the early 19th century. Today, all that remains of the church is a bell tower, the chapel of Saint-Jean and a few scattered elements around the town.
