Travel Guide Yelapa

A 30-minute boat ride from Boca Tomatlán, after passing Las Animas and Quimixto beaches among others, we arrive in Yelapa, a small village on the seashore, which is only accessible by boat and offers a paradisiacal setting to relax on the beach. The bay is divided in two by a hill: on one side, a large white sandy beach, occupied by deckchairs, umbrellas, and seafood restaurants, and on the other side, the village proper of Yelapa, with its small beach, where several water cabs and fishing boats are stationed. In the background, a dense tropical forest stretches as far as the eye can see. As there are no roads to the village, the main means of transportation is by foot or horse, so that one feels transported to another time
