This majestic pyramid of 35 meters high will welcome you from your arrival. Overhung by a temple on its top, it is composed of 5 superimposed temples built between the 6th and 10th centuries. It was arranged so that the staircase, extremely sloping (45°), faces the sun at sunset. There is no risk of vertigo, as the climb is forbidden. Its second nickname "pirámide del enano" comes from a legend that tells that it would have been built in one night by a dwarf born from the egg of a witch and who would have become governor of Uxmal.
