Cocoa plantation for an exciting and relaxing walk in Uxmal

Opposite the archeological site, in the heart of a lush forest housing a 2-hectare cocoa plantation, is a fascinating walk. Discover 6 rooms retracing the history of cocoa, its uses in Mexico and around the world, and take part in discovery and tasting workshops. You can also attend a traditional Mayan ceremony or take part in a workshop to make your own chocolate. Finally, the museum's eco-park is home to a refuge for the region's wild animals. Not to be missed on your visit to Uxmal.
