EL SALTO DE JIMENOA
This waterfall is located on the outskirts of Jarabacoa, in the middle of nature. Once you've parked your car, you'll have to follow a torrent along a steep path for a hundred meters or so, in a heat that quickly becomes oppressive despite the altitude. The first sound you hear is a dull, heavy rumble in the surrounding heat, then the waterfall reveals itself in splendid violence: two waterfalls crashing into a wide natural basin, in the middle of a majestic site unfortunately disfigured by the hydroelectric power station and tourist facilities.
