The speakers of the Altos de Chavón discotheque alternate between merengue and international rock, with a predilection for the latter, given the clientele mainly from the neighbouring complex. The place is nice, but the atmosphere is a bit conventional. One has much more fun in the local discotheques of the downtown area of La Romana. During the week, the club is also a restaurant: various Dominican tapas, hamburgers and baguette sandwiches, Mexican preparations, pasta plates and grilled meats.
