Japanese restaurant in Saint-Pierre offering a varied menu of classic sushi bars and different specialties.
The first Japanese restaurant in the city, it is also undoubtedly the best on the island. Among the few Japanese tables present in Reunion Island, the Matsushi is indeed the only one that is run by a Japanese. It is very good, and also very expensive! The menu offers more variety than most classic sushi bars: maki, sashimi, yakitori, teriyakidishes, tempura... The boat formula allows you to taste the different specialities. The service is pleasant. A very good address for all sushi desires!

For those who REALLY can enjoy japanese cuisine, this restaurant is forbidden: the massive use of stems of surimi instead of shrimp, fish from the sushi that did not taste (frozen?), tempura them grasse and coarsely crossed without mentioning unjustly Japanese rice do not make this place a must of Japanese cuisine.
Finally, a Japanese restaurant which return honour has the quality and diversity of Japanese cuisine. A very pleasant and inspired by Japanese art. A kitchen right and bursting with freshness. You can just regret the bill you can savoury.
A little expensive but super quality and setting! The welcome is not very expansive solemn, very Japanese...
