Gilles offers, winter and summer, half-day or full-day hikes with his llamas from Valloire, where he is based. It proposes a family itinerary, but original, far from the beaten track, where one goes back to the sources of the Valloirette, at the foot of the Galibier glacier. Torrents, glacial lake, marmots, mountain flowers including edelweiss, under the eye of the chamois and ibexes of the Cerces massif. The children, from the age of 5, lead the llamas, and the small troop progresses in the footsteps of the first shepherds of the Neolithic period (carved stone of the Jargette, old mountain chalets and old spawning grounds). Tio, Tchupi or Tchupango carry the Andean-Savoyard snack, prepared by the guide, to share their feet in the fresh water of the springs, while the animals feast on brambles and other dry vegetation. This year, little Arsouille, a young alpaca, joins the herd. In winter, Gilles is the only one in the region to offer snowshoe hikes for the whole family and of course always accompanied by llamas. With his colleagues, he organizes gourmet evenings, workshops for young and old, and aperitifs at the llamas at the Nature Yurt.
