Abbaye de Hautecombe classified as a historical monument, is a must-see and organizes events and temporary exhibitions.

Clinging to the wild shore of Lac du Bourget, Hautecombe Abbey blends majesty and serenity. Founded in the XIIᵉ century by the Cistercians, it became the necropolis of the princes of Savoy and the last kings and queens of Italy. Its Gothic troubadour-style church surprises with colorful frescoes, recumbent figures and stained-glass windows, contrasting with the original Cistercian sobriety. The view of the lake from the forecourt and nearby pier is breathtaking. Today run by the Chemin Neuf community, the abbey remains a lively place of prayer and welcome.

Un lieu plein d'histoire à découvrir dans un cadre magnifique. La vue sur le lac y est superbe et le lieu est paisible (hors vacances et visite de groupe). La visite guidé en audio guide est très complète et montre a quel point ce lieu est important pour les Savoisiens. Un haut lieu de la culture en Savoie. De magnifiques sculptures représentent les haut défunts du duché de Savoie.

Site historique de la maison de Savoie visitez ce lieu admirable avec ses magnifiques statues de marbre blanc . Vous pouvez descendre à la grange batelière et admirer le lac du Bourget . Calme et reposante promenade tres agreable .
