Located in the heart of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Diot Vino is much more than just a wine cellar. It combines cellar, wine bar and restaurant to offer a complete experience dedicated to lovers of fine wines and gastronomy. Since opening in December 2018, this unique establishment has established itself as a benchmark in the region for epicureans. In its cellar, you'll discover a remarkable selection of wines from all regions of France, as well as rigorously selected international vintages. Savoy wines take pride of place, with cuvées from indigenous grape varieties such as Altesse, Jacquère and Mondeuse. There's also a range of local craft beers and spirits, including whiskies, rums and liqueurs typical of the region. The wine bar is the ideal place to share a convivial moment over a glass, accompanied by homemade tapas, charcuterie boards or local cheeses. For gourmets, the menu features tasty dishes such as tartiflette with farmhouse reblochon, Royan ravioli and diots confits au vin rouge, the restaurant's signature specialty. With its warm ambience and shady terrace, Diot Vino lends itself equally well to an aperitif with friends, a romantic dinner or a lively evening. On regrette juste qu'il n'y ait pas un petit peu plus de place, pour que l'espace soit un peu moins fouillis et un peu plus aéré.
J'étais de passage je ne manquerai pas de revenir.
