Museum showing the stages and techniques of production, as well as the history of this renowned knife, created in 1890
The Opinel Museum celebrates the soul of the famous Savoyard knife, invented in 1890 by Joseph Opinel. Housed in the former cutlery factory, the museum features nearly 700 m² of permanent and temporary exhibits, tracing the history of the brand from its artisan beginnings to international success. You'll discover the old forges, manufacturing techniques and emblematic models, as well as a section showing how Opinel works today. A fascinating visit for all those curious about simple yet iconic objects.

Members' reviews on OPINAL MUSEUM
The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
