The Col du Glandon, a legendary Tour de France pass offering exceptional views of Mont Blanc.
Perched at an altitude of 1,908 meters, the Col du Glandon, like the Croix-de-fer, are two mythical passes of the Tour de France. Cyclists enjoy, starting from La Chambre, climbing to the pass, covering 21.30 km with an average slope of 6.91%. A great effort rewarded at the finish by a beautiful panorama. It links the Romanche valley to the Maurienne valley and owes its name to the eponymous torrent. The ascent evolves between the chain of Belledonne and the summits of the ski area of Sybelles. From the top, an exceptional view on the Mont-Blanc!
