It all began in 1951 with the construction of a service ropeway, a rudimentary device designed to transport equipment and tools by cable. In 1952, the cableway was officially inaugurated. Today, the cableway takes you to an altitude of 2,010 meters in just 3 minutes, offering spectacular views in both summer and winter. With gradients of up to 92%, an ascent of 586 meters, and some 170,000 passengers carried in winter.

VIA FERRATA DE LA CASCADE DE LA FRAÎCHE

It is in free access but classified difficult. One via ferrata that derives its name from the waterfall flowing through this place, fed by the torrent of the Glière. Starting from the Bieux area, then follow signs indicating "Cascade of the Fresh" and climbing school. It takes 1 hour to 1 hour 30 rise. A short walk, but it will pass through impressive stretches of road. Wonderful sensations and landscapes will be at the meeting. Partir is imperative.
