Ecomuseum presenting paintings of life scenes of yesteryear through 3D postcards of characters, old tools.
The Écomusée Montricher Autrefois offers a genuine insight into rural life in days gone by. Housed in a charming old mansion, it recreates traditional housing, field work, woodworking and, above all, the slate-making process, an activity that continued until the 1970s. Objects, furniture and scenes from daily life are displayed alongside testimonials from local residents, craftsmen's tools and reconstructions of traditional gestures.
