A lovely, easy hike for the whole family to admire the Chartreuse massif and its many treasures.
A balcony overlooking the Chartreuse! From the summit, the view opens up to 360° over the Bauges, Belledonne and, of course, the cliffs and forests of the Chartreuse. An accessible and varied hike, perfect for a half-day's walk.
The trail starts from the Col de la Cluse. It passes through beech and spruce forests before climbing to bright alpine meadows. The climb remains reasonable (allow 2h to 2h30 from the start), and the arrival on the ridge offers a grandiose spectacle: ridges, play of light, and on a clear day, Mont Blanc looming in the distance.
