Let's not forget that Lyon is a city of water and that the guinguettes are not only on the side of Nogent - from which Lyon is a little far away. Then, we leave the hyper-centre by going up the Saône, whose banks are given pride of place, towards the North and we stop at Chez la Rose. Think about it, an institution set up on the banks of the beautiful river since 1969! Private car park to welcome us, playground for children, gently sloping ground towards the river and beach for the brave, magnificent shaded terrace for the gourmands who came to enjoy themselves: Provençal blue-veined frogs, fish, small fried food filled, Charolais meat, the famous andouillette Bobosse, the homemade tartare, salads and some delicacies to finish. A must for whole days by the water.

Le foie gras est arrivé chaud et fondu dans l’assiette, la timbale d’écrevisse, ça devait être des crevettes congelés qui baignait dans un bouillon insipide.
En plat, cuisse de grenouille ou cuisse de pintade, même combat, préparé a l’avance, réchauffé et insipide.
Desserts, pas le choix, coupe de fraise pour tout le monde, fraises avec un goût d’eau.
Tout ça pour un menu à 40E par personnes, plus que décevant.
J’ai fait venir ma famille de Grenoble pour ça… les pris ont été augmenté pour cette occasion de 10e et la qualité elle d’une médiocrité accablante …
