In the global fight against infectious diseases, Marcy-l'Etoile has held a special place since Marcel Mérieux settled here in 1917. In a captivating new scenography, the Dr Mérieux Museum of Biological Sciences tells 3 stories: that of the Mérieux family, daring researchers and entrepreneurs; that of Marcy-l'Etoile, a small, world-famous commune; and above all, that of the biological sciences. A great educational tool for all audiences, this museum raises awareness. An ideal family outing on a Sunday afternoon.

Open Wednesday to Friday, 10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 5pm; Sunday, 2pm to 6pm. Tuesdays by reservation for school and adult groups (at least 3 weeks in advance). Free for children under 11. Adults: €6. Reduced admission : 3 €.
