In the heart of the Pentes, Le Bec de Jazz seems out of time with its Bird style club atmosphere. The walls are covered with the gigantic paintings of the owner. Tchangodei sometimes lets his fingers run over the piano to treat the regulars to his compositions. Unjustly unknown jazzman, this Beninese by origin and Lyonnais by adoption, has participated in about twenty albums. In his establishment, of which you have to become a symbolically contributing member, the hours don't count and you come out in the early morning, drunk with music and fresh (or almost) as a rose.
